I've used a lot of metallics that shift weirdly under a clear coat, but this one kept its fine, bright silver look exactly as it went on. The hiding power is genuinely impressive too, one coat covered the old paint without any patchiness. Definitely my go-to for smoked silver touches now.
The metallic particles stayed perfectly suspended and bright through the clear coat, which I was worried about since cheaper silvers tend to dull. Hiding power is genuinely impressive for a 15mL bottle, covered a whole fender in one pass.
The clear coat went on without disturbing the metallic particles at all, which is exactly what I was hoping for. A single coat covered the scratches on my bike frame completely, and the smoked silver has that deep, bright shine that looks far more expensive than it is.
