The comb tip lays down four or five fine parallel streaks in one pass, which is exactly what I needed for rain streaking on a tank hull. Way faster than doing each line by hand, and the bristles hold their shape after cleaning.
I was skeptical about the comb shape at first, but it lays down those parallel streaks exactly like the product photos promised. Used it for oil streaking on a tank model and the lines came out crisp and evenly spaced.
The comb tip really does lay down several fine streaks in one pass, which saved me a lot of time on rain-streak weathering. Only gripe is the bristles splay a bit if you press too hard, so keep the strokes light.
