This is a compatible solvent for thinning water-soluble acrylic paints. Used to thin water-based paints and water-soluble acrylic resin paints, or to wash used brushes.

Acrylic paints dry more slowly and have a weaker coating than lacquer-based paints, but they can be applied in a similar way to watercolors.

The cap seals tight enough that I can leave my brushes soaking overnight without the liquid evaporating, which is exactly what I needed for cleanup. Thinned my water-soluble acrylics to a nice, fluid consistency without any clumping. My only ritual now is rinsing the brush right after, and this 500m
