Grace E. ★★★★★

That 152mm howitzer turret is a chunky, awkward-looking thing and I love it — the molding on the massive gun mantlet is crisp with no flash to clean up. Fit on the KV-1 hull panels was tight enough that I barely needed filler.

Andrew V. ★★★★☆

Tracks and wheels went together with almost no cleanup, which was a nice surprise for a kit this size. Only gripe is the vinyl tracks—they're a pain to get to sit right around the drive sprockets. Still a solid build for anyone into early-war Soviet armor.

Robert G. ★★★★☆

The 152mm howitzer turret is the whole reason to buy this kit, and it builds up nicely with some care around the mantlet. Tamiya's usual crisp molding and clean fit make it a relaxing weekend build, though the tracks are the fiddly part.
