Born Paint 025 - Black Mica 15mL

The blue mica really pops in sunlight once this black base is sprayed over, and I’m impressed it hasn't dulled after three coats of clear. A little goes a long way for a 15mL bottle, so it’s perfect for touch-ups.

I’ve used it under a few clear coats now and the metallic flakes haven’t shifted or dulled one bit, still holding that sharp blue shimmer. A little goes a long way on small parts, so the 15mL tube will last me a while.

The black base is dead-on neutral, and those fine blue mica particles give it a subtle sparkle that doesn't wash out even after I sealed it with two clear coats. I mixed a small batch and the resistance to clear coat really held up—no graying or dulling of the metallic sheen after drying.
