The triangular tips are surprisingly handy for cleaning up tight corners around panel lines, and the round ones roll out air bubbles under decals without tearing them. I barely need any water on the swab for it to work.
Bought these mainly for decals and the round tip works a treat — a quick dip in water and it rolls out air bubbles without tearing the film. The triangular ones ended up being handy for cleaning up edges too.
The round tips are perfect for pressing down water-slide decals on my model kits — just a light dab of water and they roll out the bubbles without tearing the film. I didn't expect the triangular ones to be as handy, but the pointed edge gets right into tight corners.
