The etched vent grilles are thin enough to bend around the shoulder curves without creasing, and they sit flush once you dab a bit of thin glue. The included waterslide decals are a nice bonus too, way sharper than the foil stickers the kit comes with.
The etched metal vents and thrusters add a real layer of depth that the bare plastic was missing. Only gripe is that the pieces are tiny and fiddly, so keep your tweezers handy and some spares in case one pings off the desk.
The waterslide decals that come in the pack are a nice bonus and went on the shoulders without much silvering. The etch sheet itself is thin and bends easily, so be careful when you're separating the smaller bits from the fret.
