No electrical knowledge needed at all, which is exactly why I grabbed this dimming module for my display shelves. The brightness dial is smooth and lets me go from a soft glow to full brightness without any flicker.
Popped this into my tiny LED kit and it worked first try, no soldering. The dimming range is decent for dialing down brightness at night, though the knob feels a bit loose. Good little upgrade overall.
The one-touch connectors really do mean no soldering — I had my cockpit lights wired up in a couple of minutes. The dimming range is decent, though I wish the lowest setting went a touch dimmer for night scenes.
